    Why do so many people in The Land of
    Opportunity feel hopeless? With their
    calendars full, why do people feel empty?
    Surrounded by a buffet of friends, why are so
    many people starving for deeper
    relationships?

    I've heard it said that we live two lives. The
    life we display before others, and the life we
    recognize in our mirror. Man-made
    philosophies imply that outer appearances
    reflect inner happiness, so we work hard to
    look successful. We gather material
    possessions in pursuit of contentment. We
    defend political freedom hoping for liberty.
    We pursue personal happiness no matter
    what the cost.

    How well does this philosophy work? Not very
    well. Over time we realize there are different
    kinds of persecution, and many forms of
    bondage. We realize that contentment is not
    found in material possessions, and that
    happiness comes and goes depending on
    situations around us.

    If you are tired of chasing the good life, slow
    down! Let it catch up with you. There was a
    man named Jesus who lived the good life for
    all to see. He left us instructions so we can
    live it, too.

    Those instructions have your name on it. Are
