DOUG POLING
Doug Poling was raised in
Cleveland, OH, and entered the field of journalism in 1968 when he was hired by
ABC Radio News. He stayed with them
until 1973, then switched to CBS Radio where he served as journalist for the
next 25 years. During that time he was
national correspondent for CBS, headquartered in New York City. He also served as journalist for the New
York Times.
Recently retired from CBS,
he now provides a Christian perspective on world events in his series of
commentaries entitled, Today’s News and the Good News through KNLS
radio.
He has written People of
Faith in Public Office published by Scripps Howard, and regularly speaks
around America on the role of faith among public officials.
